Gem Blast is developed and published by Activato OOD ("we", "us"), based in Sofia, Bulgaria, contactable at support at this domain. This policy explains what data is processed when you play Gem Blast on Android or iOS.
Summary
Gem Blast does not require an account and we do not operate our own servers. Your game progress and settings are stored only on your device. The only personal data processing connected to the game is done by our advertising partner (Google AdMob) and by the app store that handles your purchases (Apple or Google).
Data stored on your device
Game progress, high scores, unlocked content, settings, and your advertising consent status are saved locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app (or reset it from the game's settings, where available).
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Gem Blast shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its certified ad partners may collect:
- device advertising identifier (Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS)
- IP address (which may imply approximate location)
- device and app information (model, OS version, app package)
- ad interaction data (views, clicks)

Ads are removed entirely for users with an active "No Ads" subscription or the lifetime bundle.
Your consent choices
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) is shown before ads are served. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via Settings -> Privacy Options in the game. Where consent is declined, only non-personalized ads are shown; these still use your IP address and device data for frequency capping and fraud prevention on the basis of legitimate interest.
On iOS, access to the advertising identifier is additionally governed by Apple's App Tracking Transparency; without tracking permission, ads are non-personalized.
For California residents: personalized advertising may constitute "sharing" under the CPRA. You can opt out via the in-game Privacy Options or your device's ad settings.
Purchases
In-app purchases (level packs, Zen mode, the "No Ads" subscription, and bundles) are processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive your name, billing address, or payment details - only an anonymized purchase receipt used to unlock content on your device. Legal bases (GDPR)
- Consent - personalized advertising (Art. 6(1)(a)); withdrawable at any time as described above.
- Legitimate interest - non-personalized advertising, ad fraud prevention, frequency capping (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Contract - delivering purchased content (Art. 6(1)(b)).
International transfers
Ad data collected by Google may be processed outside the EEA, subject to safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Data retention
We retain nothing - we have no servers. Local data lives on your device until you uninstall. Google retains ad data per the policies linked above.
Security
We do not transmit or store your personal data ourselves. Communication between the app and Google's ad services or the app stores takes place over encrypted connections, and purchase entitlements are stored only on your device.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Because ad data is collected directly by Google, these rights are most effectively exercised through Google's privacy controls; you can also contact us at support at this domain. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Children
Gem Blast is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly process children's personal data.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page.
