Terms of Use - Tangle Maze
Effective date: August 31, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Activato OOD ("we", "us"), based in Sofia, Bulgaria, regarding the Tangle Maze mobile game (the "App"). By downloading or playing the App you accept these terms. The terms of the app store you downloaded the App from (Apple App Store or Google Play) also apply.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play the App on devices you own or control, for private, non-commercial use.
2. In-app purchases
The App offers optional one-time purchases. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews automatically:
- Remove Ads - removes the banner and between-level ads permanently.
- More Hints - every level starts with 10 hints instead of 3.
- All Levels - unlocks every level to play in any order.
- Everything - a bundle granting all three of the above.
All purchases are billed by Apple or Google to your store account at the price shown in the App at the time of purchase; we never receive your payment details. Purchased content is tied to your store account and can be restored on a new device via Settings -> Restore in the App. Purchases are not transferable, have no monetary value, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
3. Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective store policies. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights. If a purchase is refunded, the content it unlocked is disabled again.
4. Acceptable use
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, reverse engineer it except where permitted by law, or use cheats, automation, or exploits.
5. Intellectual property
The App and all its content (graphics, audio, code, puzzle designs) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.
Shape puzzles are based on icon silhouettes from Font Awesome Free by Fonticons, Inc. (CC BY 4.0, https://fontawesome.com/license/free), Material Design Icons by Pictogrammers (Apache 2.0), and game-icons.net by its artists Lorc, Delapouite, Skoll, sparker, Faithtoken and Caro Asercion (CC BY 3.0, https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/).
6. Advertising
The free version of the App displays ads served by third parties, as a banner and occasionally between levels. Ad content is not endorsed by us. See our Privacy Policy for the data practices involved.
7. Changes to the App
We may update, change, or discontinue features (including ads shown, level content, and prices of future purchases) at any time. Updates may be required to keep playing.
8. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of these terms or the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for intent or gross negligence, or your statutory consumer rights).
10. App store provisions
These terms are between you and us, not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide support or handle claims relating to the App. If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
11. Termination
We may terminate this license if you materially breach these terms. You may stop using the App at any time; sections 5, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
